I really want to help keep my kids focused during The Church of Jesus Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints semi annual General Conference this weekend. I usually feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants. Some things are worth spending hours on. But I don't have a lot of creative time in this season of my life, and I'm not going to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. So, here are my top three EASY, last minute conference helps:
1. Conference Squares (Bingo)
3. General Authorities picture chartTrying to help the littles keep track of who is speaking, we ripped this picture from the November 2015 Ensign magazine. My daughter glued them on to card stock and I laminated them against sticky conference square fingers.
I printed these out and laminated them several years ago. We use them for every conference. Paired with a big bag of skittles or m&m's (in labeled cups to keep it fair) get us through the first session, and the kids will actually listen for the words!
2. Conference packets
I love these mini packets from LDS Lane because if I print the big packets, it's too much for most of my kids and they are just wasted. The little kid ones are great for my non-readers. And the big kids ones are perfect for the short attention spans of my bigger kids.

I hope you enjoy General Conference! We are looking forward to listening to the prophet, eating homemade donuts, and spending more time together as a family.
